Meet the Mooses!

Mooses
In the backwoods of Himos lies the most exciting and peculiar manor "Hirvikartano".
In there it's possible to meet live mooses eye to eye, feed them and even pet them if they're on the mood.
The matron and patron of the manor will introduce you to these great animals and
tell you more about their living habits.

Between 27.5.-19.6. audience with the mooses is available every Wednesday 14 o'clock by advance subscription.

Enjoy the holiday in the varying landscape and services of Himos. Go swim from the bank of the lake, head out to the biking trails or play field games with the family.
After an active day you can rest in the pampering heat of traditional smoke sauna, grill some sausages and have a swim in the lake in between the sauna experience.
It's a short way to downtown Jämsä for shopping and services.

Summer vacation week program:
Tuesday
at 15, 16, 17 ja 18 o'clock	Children's climbing course Guided climbing course. The smallest family members can join with their parents and a bit bigger children can do the course without assistance. After completing the track bun-in-the-stick roasting by camp fire. One climbing course reservation per household

Wednesday
13 – 16 o'clock	Visit the Moose Manor! In Himos backwoods, 10 km from the center lies Hirvikartano - The Moose Manor, where you get to meet live mooses. Most corageus visitors can feed and pet these friendly giant animals. The program includes a juice & bun. Going to the manor by own transportation. Maps from Himos Center.

Thursday
at 12 – 15 o'clock, nonstop	Crafts Making the frames and paiting a picture. A nice souvenir to take home or for grand parents. Available at any time between 12-15 o'clock.

Friday
at 10, 11, 12 ja 13 o'clock	Children's climbing course For those who did not have time to do it on Tuesday

Saturday
at 10-14 o'clock	Visit to farmhouse Ahola See the cows, experience the atmosphere of a real farmhouse. The farm shop sells products of small procuders, dairy, meat etc. Going by own cars or with group transfer. In case you're interested in group transfer, please sign in latest at 16 o'clock on Tuesday 16.7. Transfer is free of charge, departure from Himos Center at 10 am, return approx 13 o'clock
at 17 - 20 o'clock	Smoke sauna Idyllic smoke sauna on the bank of Lake Patalahti. Enjoy the relaxing heat of the sauna and swim in the refreshing lake. Note! mixed genders, bathing suits on, bring your own towel.
